Regional Centers:


Provide services for those with developmental disabilities in all ages. In the Early start Program, Regional Center provides services for children from 0 to 3 years old with or at risk for developmental disabilities. The following list shows the Regional Centers located around Southern California:

California Children's Services (CCS):


California Children's Services (CCS) is a state program for children with certain diseases or health problems. Through this program, children up to 21 years old can get the health care and services they need. CCS will connect you with doctors and trained health care people who know how to care for your child with special healt​h care needs (from CCS).

Immunizations

Women's, Infants & children''s Supplemental Food Program


Provides nutrition education and coupons for free food to low income women (pregnant or nursing), infants, and children with special health care needs (ages from 0 to 5). For more information, please call: 1(800) WIC-WORKS ( 942-9675 )



Supplemental Security Income(SSI)


Provides cash assistance and Medi-Cal to low income disabled individuals (all ages). For more information, please call: 1(800) 772-1213



Mental Health


Provides evaluations and services for those with mental health problems (all ages). For more information, please call: 1 (800) 854-7771



Child Health and Disability Prevention Program(CHDP)

Department of Public Social Services (DPSS)
